Five Devon Under-18 players selected for South West squad

FIVE Devon Under-18 players have been selected to represent the South West Divisional side.

Topsham’s Jed Reid (Exeter College), Kingsbridge’s Seb Tooke (Plymouth College), Exeter Saracens’ Freddie Herring (Exeter School), Ivybridge’s Matt Burns (Ivybridge Community College) and Plymstock Albion Oaks’ Pete Keanie (Lipson Co-Op Academy) all successfully came through trials at Hartpury College on Sunday.

The quintet had also impressed in Devon’s Under-18 campaign in December.

The South West have named a squad of 23 boys to attend a national development weekend where the England Counties’ Under-18 squad will be selected.
