Devon RFU Deaf Ladies Rugby

On Wednesday night Paignton RFC hosted the first training session of Devon Deaf ladies rugby team.

This saw 7 ladies take to the field as they look to become the first Deaf Ladies County side in the Country. With more ladies in the wings and the team always open to others joining this team is sure to go from strength to strength.

Devon RFU is the countries leading county in establishing sides for the Deaf community to play in a team of their peers.

The ladies are already looking forward to pulling on that green and white shirt and stepping out to represent Devon.
