Vacancy: Director of Age-Grade Rugby – Devon RFU (Volunteer Role)
Devon RFU is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to take on the role of Director of Age-Grade Rugby, leading the development and delivery of rugby for young players across the county.
This is a key leadership role, shaping the future of the game from Junior Rugby to Colts, across clubs, schools and colleges.
The Role
As Director of Age-Grade Rugby, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership across all age-grade activity
- Oversee competitions, schools, colleges and the girls’ game
- Support and guide a team of dedicated volunteer leads
- Help create clear, inclusive and sustainable player pathways
- You will work closely with a strong volunteer network who are passionate about giving players the best start in the game.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a strong understanding of grassroots or youth rugby
- Is confident leading and supporting others
- Can think strategically while staying connected to the reality of clubs
- Is passionate about developing opportunities for young players
- You don’t need to have held a formal board role before - just the ability to lead, collaborate and make things happen.
