Women Winning In Berkshire

Devon Senior Women made a superb start to their 2026 Gill Burns County Championship campaign with an outstanding 50–0 victory away to Berkshire in Maidenhead.

Running in eight tries across an impressive all-round team performance, Devon combined attacking flair with defensive determination to secure a statement opening win and continue the momentum built over recent seasons.

Berkshire deserve huge credit for the spirit they showed throughout the contest, continuing to battle hard until the final whistle despite the scoreboard pressure.

Everyone at Devon RFU would also like to send their very best wishes to Lily following the injury sustained during the match. Lily has been brilliant for Devon and the wider rugby community, and our thoughts are with her as we wish her a full and speedy recovery.
