Become a Rugby Referee
If you’ve ever thought about picking up the whistle, now is the perfect time. Two fantastic referee development opportunities are coming up this November, offering the chance to get involved, learn new skills, and support the game we all love.
Course 1 – Honiton RFC | Friday 8th November
This course is open to all aspiring referees, whether you’re completely new or looking to develop your officiating further.
Course 2 – Tavistock RFC Impact ’25 (Women Only) | Friday 22nd November
This women-only referee course is part of the RFU’s Impact ’25 programme, which aims to grow and support female match officials across the game. Thanks to RFU funding, places on this course are fully covered – making it an incredible opportunity to get involved with refereeing in a supportive environment.
Please note: Candidates will need a special link to register for the course. To receive this link, simply get in touch with us directly via president@devonrugbyrefs.co.uk or admin@devonrrs.co.uk
Whether you’re looking to support your club, give back to the game, or even start a pathway into higher-level officiating, these courses are a fantastic way to get started.
