Director of the Female Game for Devon RFU

Do you have years of experience in the Women and/or Girls game and repeatedly questioned why something wasn't being done, or you felt it could be being done better? You could be our next Director!

Devon RFU is looking for a forward-thinking, committed volunteer to take on the strategic role of Director of the Female Game. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of women’s and girls’ rugby in a county with a growing and vibrant rugby community.

brief role description

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan, in collaboration with others, for women’s rugby that aligns with the CBs and RFUs objectives
  • Serve as a visible advocate for women’s rugby, working to increase the sport’s visibility within the community
  • Establish clear pathways for female players from grassroots to competitive levels, including representative rugby, in coordination with local clubs
  • Provide guidance and support to local clubs on developing and sustaining women’s rugby teams
