It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Paul Harris.  

Until recently Paul was President of Devon RFU.  As President Paul set an exemplary example to us all; his advice, guidance and conduct were always impeccable. Paul was a great supporter of Representative Rugby and his commitment to all our teams was first class.  He was also incredibly passionate about our own Devon cups and competitions at all levels.  No matter the distance, Paul would do everything he could to be at a Devon Cup Final or Representative game and was always a great ambassador for the county.

At club level Paul’s passion and commitment to Crediton RFC was superb, but he also had a great fondness for and showed support to all our clubs.  Paul was a genuinely great advocate for Rugby across Devon and did everything he could to promote and support the game he loved.  Paul, along with his wife Hilary, has been a consistent part of our rugby family for such a long time, bringing great humour, a smile and cheerfulness everywhere he went.  His passing is a great loss to us all and he will truly be missed.
